A luxurious London home owner updated their property with two modern spiral staircases.

Canal had the opportunity to take part in this project due to their experience within stainless steel. Fabricating the stainless steel components for the staircase began at the Nottingham manufacturing site.

A smooth joint free stringer was welded into place creating a continuous ribbon effect for the identical stairs.

On site, the two spiral staircases faced each other creating a mirror reflection effect.

Low iron glass treads where installed as well as complementary stainless steel risers bars to add a sense elegance to the staircase.

In addition the curved profile of the staircase and the connecting bridge to the upper floor had further glass installed for the balustrades. To harmonise the open beams through the property, timbering flooring covered the mezzanine floor.

A stainless steel continuous handrail installed onto the staircase and balustrade gave project a premium finish.
