An office building in London underwent a refurbishment which required a two story folded staircase.

Within the Nottingham workshop, Canal begun the manufacture of the folded staircase structure. The first step involves creating the core structure; this involved the fabrication teal to meticulously fold the steel plate to achieve the zig-zag effect.

Onsite, the installation team then paint mild steel perfectly complementing the original cream pillars within the property. In addition, alongside the painted mild steel white American oak treads seamlessly match the existing flooring. Canal then install a black carbon nosing strip onto each tread creating a perfect contrast between the steel and oak treads.

To finish the staircase a frame less glass balustrade enhances the visibility around all angles to the building. A mirror polished handrail perfectly fixes to the side glass balustrade pulling the contemporary modern staircase together.
