When the design calls for a feature spiral staircase in a top of the range Central London home; Canal Architectural rose to the challenge providing a feature staircase meeting the clients requirements.
In order to match the exquisite surroundings Canal Architectural constructed a stainless steel, timber and glass spiral staircase.
Fabricated with a stainless steel central column and tread supporting arms, the spiral staircase complements the interior design. In addition matching oak stained timber treads and 12mm faceted glass infill panels.
A stainless steel curved handrail finished with a satin polish look supports the glass infill panels to create a contemporary balustrade.
Further to the staircase, Canal also installed two matching exterior Juliet balconies.
The two balconies have a galvanised steel structure clad with stainless steel and 39mm glass floors. With matching satin polished stainless steel handrail, made from grade 316 stainless steel, the balconies both have 15mm toughened structural glass balustrade with pig nose fixings to compliment the existing glass balustrade running throughout the interior of the home.
Canal’s spiral staircases are available in a range of materials to suit almost any interior or exterior environment. The fabrication team will ensure your project become a one off unique feature made with the finest quality.
