Canal Architectural were approached to manufacture and install an external steel staircase with bridge link to the Royal Liver building in Liverpool. The specification was to replace the existing structure and to provide visitors with easy access to the new visitor centre located on the lower ground floor of the building.
The staircase was designed in mild steel and galvanised to provide protection against rust; ideal for outdoor environments. The anti-slip glass flooring panels were also applied to protect visitors against the risks of slip injuries particularly during wet conditions.
Our talented in-house project management team worked closely with the architect and main contractor to ensure a smooth delivery and the staircase was fitted in compliance with current UK Building regulations.
