This beautiful quarter-landing staircase was installed at a Camden office in North West London. As part of the brief the client requested an industrial vintage staircase design that complemented the interior of the property.
The staircase and extensive walkway are both made of mild steel with a waxed finish including laser cut infill panels and timber handrail. The wax prevents the steel from rusting whilst maintaining its quality and character. The handrail is a White American oak square that has been stained in order to match the interior of this elegant corporate setting.
This particular staircase model is simplistic in its design but is made of a complex technical foundation along with a solid handrail which is used in a way to assist the structural integrity of the staircase.
In order to ensure that this staircase and walkway allows access to multiple offices, our talented team has installed the balustrade to the staircase along with 3mm sheets of laser cut steel which achieved a bespoke mesh effect for each balustrade panel. To tie it all together, a slotted White American oak square handrail was stained to match the interior of the property.
