Hidden steelwork is the key to the success of this gorgeous walnut timber and glass modern staircase. In addition the cleverly place treads lights enhance the overall look adding whilst adding a dramatic effect.
Other than the slotted satin polish handrail there is minimal visible steel work. This explains why an architectural metalwork company fabricated this staircase.
The walnut finish is a 30mm thick cladding of a structural steel work frame. The simple zigzag modern staircase design has stainless steel bosses fixed through the timber to the steel frame in order to support the frameless glass balustrade.
The timber was all hand finished on site by our joinery contractor, K & D Joinery.
