The opportunity to be apart of the bridge balustrade creation over the Liffey river was an opening as well as showing everyone the capabilities the Canal team has to offer.
The Liffey River, which flows through the centre of Dublin, supplies much of Dublin’s water.
Canal began to manufacture the construction of the stainless steel light boxes light boxes. Next, a 120mm x 60mm elliptical handrail created a finishing touch to the bridge balustrade.
In addition, to make the elliptical handrail a unique feature Canal shot peened the stainless steel. To finish the balustrade, the installation team bold each baluster above the individual light box features.
