This elegant mild steel, site sprayed feature stair was designed by ourselves to architects specifications, for a commercial setting in central London. Whilst simplistic in its design, the complex technical foundation along with a solid handrail is used in a way to assist the structural integrity of the staircase.
Diving further into the design of this beautiful staircase model, its chunky design works seamlessly to complement rather than overpower a corporate setting. The mild steel stairway combines straight flight of stairs, a short landing and a timber handrail over two floors.
Our design team carefully examined and dissected the proposed technical drawings before refining and developing the stylish physical product that you see in front of you.
After our pre-build and client approval process that we have in place for each project, the staircase was dismantled, delivered and installed by our talented in-house installation team, who work very closely with the client’s on-site contractors to ensure a seamless delivery.
As you can see in the photos above, the final result was a simple looking staircase with a contemporary feel, comprising of improved safety whilst maintaining sophistication and purpose.
We design each staircase to comply with BS5395: Part 2, 1984 (spiral and helical staircases) and Building Regulations: Approved Document K.
