CANAL carried out a structural analysis of a concept drawing to determine the detail of section sizes and fixings required to manufacture this 10 metre span canopy. By taking into account weather conditions including snow and wind loads; laminated 13.5mm glass was chosen. CANAL was able to fabricate, powder coat and deliver this canopy in full length sections to its location. Our own site team carried out the installation during the night to minimise the disruption and maximise safety for the general public.
